Canon 1D Mark III Arrives! (Sort of)

In continuation of my gear sluttiness, I start to foam at the mouth over the new Canon camera bodies (specifically the new Canon EOS 1D Mark III). I just looked at Amazon.com and saw that one of there third party sellers is now selling the new cameras!! Whoo hooo! But ….. I’ve read a lot of stories around the net.
Autofocus issues … yuck! If I dropped $5,000 on a new camera and had auto-focus issues, I’d be pissed! A lot of people are even saying that the EOS 1D Mark II had none of the issues. Wow, again, I’d be pissed to discover this after dropping the price of a cheap car on a new camera body.
Will I be buying one soon? Probably not. I think I’ll hold off for the rumored 22mp Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III. Oooooh, gear lust!
